In the beginning, God; is a statement that many do not like in fact many will simply make false claims and exaggerated excuses to disprove this statement that the scriptures have been teaching for thousands of years. If the universe can be proven that it had a beginning. The beginning points directly at God. With this said; scientists for the past two centuries have discovered factual evidence that the universe indeed had an absolute beginning.

There are five main proofs that the universe had a beginning and the theory keeps on getting stronger as time moves forward. They are the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the Universe Expanding, Radiation from the Big Bang or “God Spoke,” Great Galaxy Seeds and lastly Einstein’s Theory of General Relativity that without none may not of been possible.

The Cosmic Rebound Theory states that the universe has been expanding and contracting forever. Many take on this theory to avoid an absolute beginning, therefore a creator or God. But this theory has some serious problems.

The first problem and it is obvious, there is no evidence for an infinite number of Big Bangs. In others words the Big Bang theory is not called the Big Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang…”forever”…Theory. The theory suggests that evidence points that the universe exploded once from nothing.

Secondly, there is not enough matter to pull everything back to create another Big Bang. In 2003 Charles Bennett of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center confirmed that the universe is constantly expanding indefinitely. In fact, many astronomers are now suggesting that the universe is gaining in speed or accelerating the expansion of the universe making the collapse very improbable.

Thirdly, the Cosmic Rebound Theory contradicts the Second Law of Thermodynamics because even if there was enough matter in the universe to make the universe contract and expand again. The theory assumes that no energy would be lost in each “Bang” or contraction and expansion. If the universe has been contracting and expanding forever the lost of energy will simply become useless and it will simply fizzle out.

Lastly, even if there were a finite number of contractions and expansions, the Cosmic Rebound Theory cannot explain what caused the first expansion or “bang.” Also an infinite number of Big Bangs is impossibility. See “Proof of God: The Kalam Cosmological Argument.”

These facts debunk the Cosmic Rebound Theory and again strengthen the proof that the universe had an absolute beginning. Whatever you want to call the beginning; Big Bang, God Spoke, etc. The universe had a beginning and the beginning points directly to God.
